There will be three options of play: 3.0-3.4 round robin and tournament, 3.5+ round robin and tournament, and a 2.0 – 2.5 beginner’s clinic.
2.0 – 2.5 Beginner’s Clinic: 9 AM to 11 AM (max of 16 players) ($30/pp)
Led by Marjorie Berger. Marjorie has been organizing and teaching pickleball for the last 15 years around Metro North Boston. She is a USA Pickleball Ambassador working with others in Eastern MA to promote and expand the game in towns and cities. Currently she works with local recreation departments, community centers and Woburn YMCA’s to teach the basics of the game and strategies of play.
3.0 – 3.4 Round Robin and Tournament: 9 AM to 1 PM (must sign up as a team) ($50/team)
Open play. Teams can be mixed. Both players must be same rating range.
3.5+ Round Robin and Tournament: 1 PM to 5 PM (must sign up as a team) ($50/team)
Open play. Teams can be mixed. Both players must be same rating range.
-Must be 18+ to register for any of the above events
-Please wear court shoes (tennis or basketball; with a flat bottom)
-For the round robin and tournament play, both players on a team must be in the rating range
-All registrants must sign a waiver prior to playing
-These are not sanctioned tournaments. The goal is to have fun and support a cause.
-All players will be required to sign a waiver on May 10 prior to playing
